Bull Run TCG

Can AI answer questions about my card collection?

Yes. Ask Bull Run is an AI chat inside the Bull Run app that answers plain-language questions using your own collection and the app's market data, such as what your cards are worth, what is moving, what might be worth grading or where a card is stored. A weekly digest also sums up your collection and the market once a week.

What a collection AI is good at

The hard part of a big collection is not the cards, it is the counting. An AI that can read your list does in seconds what would take an evening with a spreadsheet: add up value by set, find every green card or every card with flying, spot which cards moved most this month, or explain what a card actually does in plain words.

Where it falls short

An assistant is only as good as the data behind it. It cannot see the real condition of a card you have not checked, prices for cards that rarely change hands can be out of date, and nobody can tell you for sure where a price goes next. A good assistant says when something is not on record instead of guessing.

Questions worth asking

  • What's my collection worth?
  • What's moving in my collection?
  • Which of my cards are worth grading?
  • Where is my Charizard?
  • How many green cards do I have?
  • Why did Yu-Gi-Oh prices go up this month?

How Bull Run does it

  1. Tap the Ask about your collection… bar under the portfolio card on Home. You can also open it from the chat icon at the top of the Collection tab, or the Ask tab in Contact Support.
  2. Type a question in your own words, or tap one of the starter questions.
  3. Read the answer. Card names in it link to their card pages.

Ask Bull Run can look through your collection by name, set, value or what the cards are (colours, types, HP and more), check price history and graded prices, read buy and sell ratings, find grading candidates, tell you where a copy is stored, read card rules text, and look up current eBay asking prices (asking prices, not sales). For news, such as a ban or a new set announcement, it can search the web. It only reads your data: it cannot add, move or remove cards. It covers trading card games only, not sports cards.

Weekly digest: once a week the app writes a short recap in three or four parts: your collection this week, the wider market and a few things worth a look. It shows on Home as Weekly digest ready; after you open it, find it again under the value chart on the Collection tab. The clock button at the top lists earlier weeks.

Which plan includes it?

Free: a small daily AI allowance for questions about cards, prices and your collection, plus the weekly digest. Questions about how to use the app do not use the allowance. Pro: much more AI use each day. Premium: the most AI use each day. Web search is on every plan and counts toward the allowance.

The allowance is measured by how much work a question takes, so a short question uses less than one that looks through your whole collection. It resets at 3 am Mountain time, and Profile shows how much of today's allowance is used under Today's usage.

Paid plans are not on sale yet. Any free account can try Pro free for 14 days, with no card needed, and it drops back to Free by itself.

More questions

Does the AI make up prices?

Its numbers come from your collection and the app's market data. If something is not on record, it says so instead of guessing.

Can it change my collection?

No. Ask Bull Run only reads your data. Adding, moving or removing cards is done in the app itself.

Can it tell me which cards will go up?

It can explain a card's buy or sell rating and how cards rated the same way did in the past. That is an estimate from past prices, not a prediction it can promise.

How many questions can I ask each day?

It depends on your plan and how much work each question takes, not a fixed count. Profile shows how much of today's allowance you have used.

Does the weekly digest use my AI allowance?

No. The digest is built once a week and kept, so opening it again is instant.
