How do I get alerts when a card's price changes?
Pick the cards you care about, decide on a target price for each, and use a tool that checks prices regularly and tells you when one rises above or drops below your target. A watch list helps you follow cards you do not own yet. In Bull Run you tap the bell on any card's page to set a buy or sell alert, and add cards to your Watchlist to keep an eye on them.
Choose a target that means something
An alert is only useful if the price you pick would make you act. For a card you want, set a price you would happily pay. For a card you own, set a price you would be glad to sell at. Look at the card's recent price history first, so your target is not something it hits every week by chance.
Buy alerts and sell alerts
- Buy alert: tells you when a card drops below your target, so you can pick it up cheaper.
- Sell alert: tells you when a card you own rises above your target, so you can think about taking a profit.
Use a watch list for cards you don't own
A watch list is a simple list of cards you are thinking about. Checking it now and then shows you which ones are getting cheaper or more expensive, even without a set target. Keep it short so it stays useful.
Remember prices are estimates
A market price is a summary of recent prices, not a promise. When an alert fires, check current listings before you buy or sell.
How Bull Run does it
- Open any card's page and tap the bell icon.
- Choose Buy alert (get in at a good price) or Sell alert (take profit on a high).
- Type a target price and choose Drops below or Rises above, then tap Set Alert. The sheet shows the card's current price to help you choose.
- See all your alerts from the bell at the top of the Collection tab. They are split into Triggered and Active. Tap one to change it or tap Remove Alert.
Alerts are checked against the card's Near Mint market price every night. When one is reached, Home shows new price alerts triggered, and on iPhone you also get a push notification. Push is not on Android yet.
To follow a card without an alert, open its page, tap the three-dot menu and choose Add to Watchlist. Your list is on the Watchlist tab inside Collection.
Which plan includes it?

More questions
How often are alerts checked?
Every night, against the card's latest Near Mint market price. A card that stays past your target will not notify you again every night.
Can I get alerts on Android?
You can set alerts and see them in the app and on Home, but push notifications are iPhone only for now.
Can I set an alert on a card I don't own?
Yes. Any card page has the bell, whether or not the card is in your collection.
Does the Watchlist send alerts by itself?
No. The Watchlist is for following cards. To be told about a price, set an alert with the bell on the card's page.
